How does a dog Easter egg hunt work?

We will put dog food in each egg and spread them out in the grass. The holes in the eggs allow the fabulous scent of food out for your dog to smell. When they “find” an egg by sniffing it then you put it in your bag. Don’t forget to open all your eggs and check for prize tickets! Large dogs and small dogs will be asked to hunt on separate sides of the field.

This event is hosted by the Nashville Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association to benefit the Nashville Ronald McDonald House and Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue.

Screen Shot 2014-04-01 at 9.54.11 PMThe Calls for Kids Telecast is RMH’s best and biggest opportunity to highlight their mission, the families who utilize their programs, and the companies, individuals and organizations who fund their programs each year. A Thank You from RMH

February 20, 2014

Alpha Delta Pi Nashville Alumnae

Dear Friends,

On behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville, we want to thank you for bringing together such a great group of volunteers and providing supplies to help families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  We appreciate your longtime support and your dedication to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville.

The 32-bedroom Nashville Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for families with a critically ill child who is receiving treatment at a Nashville area hospital. Coping with a seriously ill child can be one of the most difficult and painful experiences a family may ever face.  For families having to travel long distances to hospitals for their child’s medical treatment, the strain is even more severe.  The Ronald McDonald House offers a great alternative to these families who would otherwise pay a large amount for a motel…or perhaps sleep in a hospital waiting room.

We appreciate you spending your morning cleaning, organizing, and disinfecting the Ronald McDonald House.  Thank you for helping us to continue to provide shelter, emotional support, understanding, and a homelike environment to the many families we serve each year.

Sincerely,

Kirra Menees

Volunteer Coordinator
Nashville Ronald McDonald House
