This Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 7pm to 10pm Nashville’s News 2 WKRN-TV will once again air the Calls For Kids Telecast to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville with WKRN talent serving as hosts.
The Calls for Kids Telecast is RMH’s best and biggest opportunity to highlight their mission, the families who utilize their programs, and the companies, individuals and organizations who fund their programs each year. During the three-hour live event, production is divided among the phone bank where volunteers, prominent community leaders and local celebrities field phone calls from donors, live and taped interviews with families, live and taped interviews with donors, and video segments that give viewers a closer look at our House and Family Room.
The Nashville Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association is a community sponsor again this year, matching all donations (up to $2000) during a 2 minute window of the broadcast. Our time slot is anticipated to be between 8:15pm and 8:30pm (but this is a live event so that may change). Thanks to Sister Sarah for representing us on camera!!
